Is my head unit messed up?

ok, subs and amp havent worked for about 3 weeks now, we are getting very sick of the guessing game tow what could possibly be wrong with it, we rewired everything with new wires and yes they all are wired good. trust me we are getting antsy about what the problem is. but amplifier still wont turn on, could it be that my cd player is ruined? what else could this be? the amp is good, subs are good..just no power to the amp. if you have any ideas plz let me know, thanks very much!
