Quentin Tarantino & Robert Rodriguez?

i've been watching a lot of movies this week... A LOT!!! (i have a week off before starting school). anywho, i've watched Pulp Fiction, Planet Terror, Death Proof, Sin City) i've seen these movies, and their other movies before... all i usually see lately are bad remakes, lame sequals, and so on... it seems to me that these two guys just get it! there movies are great, they are original... not just the run of the mill crap! their soundtracks have perfect timing, and really define the moment... they just leave me saying... WOW! does anyone feel the same!? their grindhouse movies match up with old flicks like return of the living dead, friday the 13th, zombie, the hills have eyes... films like that! modern expected "films" like SAW, or remakes of "halloween", "hills have eyes"... just do not cut it, or even in the same ball-park for that matter... i just wanna here others opinions.... no jerks, or lame ***'s that have no idea of where i am coming from! thanks!
