Muslims, if women cover themselves for modesty, why don't men do the same for the same reason? ?

men are temptation for women too! women look at men in ual ways to. a Muslim might say that men still dress modestly but arms and legs are not looked at ually, but i no lots of women who look at men and say "he's got good muscles on his arms" etc. i remember taking a boat trip out to the Phi Phi Islands in Thailand, and a Muslim family was part of the group. the woman was wearing a black burka, and you could only see her eyes. it was 35 C degrees and very humid, while she was suffering, he husband was wearing a singlet and shorts! no-one can possibly say that he was dressing modestly! any women on that boat could look at him and think ual things! on the trip, we were offered biscuits and given a meal, this women couldn't eat anything, as she was wearing the mouth cover. and we went swimming on private beaches as well, while her husband and her son had fun in the water she had to sit on the beach, watching, in the heat. this is not fair, the poor woman. i still believe that women covering up etc, it still a way of suppressing women and making them be seen as the property of their husbands. i'm sorry if this is offensive to any Muslims, but this is how i view it, and i hope you see my point. i have respect for Islam, but this is my only problem with it, and it makes me angry.
