Muslims, Why does the Qu'ran teach that Ishmael was the son Abraham was to sacrifice?

When all scripture shows that Isaac was the son that was to be sacrificed? Do Muslims know this is prophesy of the coming of Mesiah? That God provided himself a lamb... That Issac carried the wood to the mountain. That Abraham named the place Jehova Jirah which means the lord will provide because it is there where God would provide himself a lamb.... If Abraham understood the Cross why do Muslims who claim to be Abrahamic not understand this prophesy?
