Personality of Brennan from BONES and careers?

If you've seen the show Bones, you know Temperance Brennan is a forensic anthropologist. But what other careers do you think she could have? I identify with this character a lot, although I'm not socially dumb like her, I'm just very socially reserved and I understand metaphors very well. So this just got me thinking about it. Thoughts?
