Are Animal Rights Videos a true representation of the industry?

We watched this video at school called "Eat this" (the website is www.eatthis.org where you can watch the same video) and basically it is anti-meat prove. It shows lots of stuff about how cruel the industry can be. Lots of people found it sad and some cried but i took it like propaganda and am still eating the same amount of meat as i did before. Is what they show about the cruelty of the industry true or is it edited to show the bad parts and being biased. I compared it with anti-abortionists who refer to the foetus as a "baby" to make people empathise more with it. Am i correct to think the video is similar.
