WBA and alphabet orgs ruining boxing?

All of these organizations have made boxing championships somewhat of a farce. Unless you were like Bernard or Roy Jr. (both back in the day) and had all 6 belts, it really meant something. I think some of these organizations should combine or something; try to get back to 3 belts like back in the 80's. One guy having all 3 belts like Iron Mike did is pretty Diesel. Of course most fans agree that there are really only 3 that matter anyway. One way to stop it were to have boxers stop paying fees to fight in these organizations, but that won't happen because young boxers will want to be called a "world champion". Maybe if the older title holders avoided the WBA, it could be seen comparable to the NABF, and not really a world championship. I don't know, but it really is hurting boxing because there's champions that no one has ever heard of, so it's hard for non-fans to get interested in boxing because they don't know who the legit champs are.
