Running Backhandspring Cheer/ gymnastics people ?

In order 2 make varsity i need a running backhandspring so far all i have is cartwheel and a roundoff. my gymnastics session starts at the end of this month but just curious how long did it take you to get yours? and any tips thanks a lot =]
